1. Services
Nirod Rathnaweera provides web development, IT and technical services and online STEM tutoring. Services may be delivered by me or, for web and related projects, in collaboration with ZeroOne, a separate and independent business. The scope, deliverables, timeline and price of each engagement are agreed in writing (email or proposal) before work starts.
2. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, content and access needed for the work, and to give feedback in good time. Delays in doing so may move the timeline.
3. Payment
Prices and payment schedules are set out in the agreed proposal. Unless stated otherwise, web projects may require an upfront deposit, and tutoring is paid per session or package in advance.
4. Ownership
On full payment, you own the final deliverables created specifically for you. I may keep general know-how and, with your permission, show completed work in my portfolio. Third-party materials (fonts, plugins, stock images) stay under their own licences.
5. Tutoring and academic integrity
Tutoring is teaching and learning support only. I do not take exams, write or submit graded assignments, or otherwise complete assessed work for students, and I may decline any request that does.
6. Confidentiality
I keep non-public client information confidential and use it only to deliver the agreed work.
7. Liability
I will perform services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the affected service, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss. I do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic or sales results.
8. Termination
Either party may end an engagement by written notice. Work completed up to that point remains payable. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka.
